I’m proud to announce the release of my first book Get Wise Or Die Trying: Musings & Memoirs On Mortality, Meaning & The Mystery Of Being Alive.

A few things worth mentioning.

• It is pay-what-you-want, with a minimum of $5. (I’m scared to do the math of how much time actually went into this project.)

• It is mostly a compilation of my first year writing here at Substack

• It also features essays on autopoeisis, seven unpublished poems written between summer of 2019 and winter of 2020

• It is in e-book format for now, though I plan to release a physical copy at a future date.

This is mostly an opportunity for any readers or subscribers to express some one-time support rather than the ongoing commitment of a paid monthly subscription.

Acknowledgements

While it seems mostly accidental that it is being released on the eve of American Thanksgiving, I am grateful all the same to be releasing this to the public. Then again, perhaps there are no accidents.
