Hey folks,
This is my first attempt at a relatively light lift to keep momentum on publishing weekly.
It’s a round-up of what I’ve been up to, where I’m at, and where I’m going.
I’m still figuring out how I want the format to look but I’m doing my best to pull to follow the mantra of “Ready. Fire. Aim.”
So let’s begin…
What I'm reading?
The Daily Stoic, by Ryan Holiday. One day at a time. My second time through.
Courage Is Calling, by Ryan Holiday. Surprisingly digestible. A collection of essays highlighting real people in history and overcoming their challenges with courage.
Breaking The Habit Of Being Yourself, by Joe Dispenza. I started listening to this on my Scribd subscription after multiple recommendations. When you’re ready, you’re ready.
What I'm watching?
Bonnitta Roy. This model of the self is incredibly comprehensive and insightful with its multi-dimensionality.
John Vervaeke. While researching a piece curating some of his ideas, I came across a recent interview of his with therapist Brooke Sprowl.
Brent Charleton. This video on his Ego States Matrix blows me away with its elegant framework.
What I'm working on?
A piece on breathing inspired by Aristotle.
Meditation: Eric Lindo's TMI guided meditations on Insight Timer, working with the jhanas, and Insight Timer's 14-day breathwork challenge.
A curation piece on John Vervaeke vis-a-vis my experience with existential angst.
Promotional material for upcoming lo-fi hip hop tracks in collaboration with my friend, producer and musician Andrei Diaconu.
An online course on cold email outreach by Rob Allen.
Getting clients for email copywriting.
Keep creating,
Tai
